Storify is a platform that allows people to tell stories using elements from the social web. Our users include many of the largest publishers around the world, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and more. We're a small company looking for engineers who wants to make a big impact.
We're looking for experienced engineers who want to build a product instead of just working on technology, team players who wants to contribute to the vision and direction of Storify. We believe in working sustainably and pragmatically, with professional hours and realistic expectations. There is no room for egos on this team, brogrammers need not apply.
You'll translate product and design ideas into semantic, well-structured presentation code that is elegant, beautiful, and takes full advantage of desktop and mobile browsers.
We seek a full-stack coder with strong understanding of back-end infrastructure who has experience architecting complex systems. We are looking for an experienced Ops person to help us create systems and tools to manage, monitor, and maintain all aspects of Storify's production and development environments. Our current environment is built on node.js, mongodb, redis, and elasticserach.
We seek a broad-skillset iOS engineer, who will be working directly on product design, interacting with back-end services, as well as building every aspect of our leading-edge mobile products.
We have a small team of international people speaking a total of 6 different languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian)
We are based in San Francisco in a bright, naturally lit loft office in the new “up and coming” area of town (home to Twitter, Code for America, Zencoder, FontShop).

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about creating something that will change the way people discover what is happening on our planet and what matters in the world. Storify already has a lot of momentum that includes users from top media companies (New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNN, Mashable), brands (IBM, Salesforce, Samsung, Adobe) and organizations (White House, United Nations). We are backed by top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital. We need smart and creative talent to help us go much further and create the new information network.
